Linda June Morse was born on September 22, 1948 to Virgie (Janoe) Taylor and Bryant Taylor and three amazing brothers that she adored. She was raised in Hugo, Oklahoma, until marrying her life-long love Jerry Morse at the age of 16. They eventually made their home in Rattan, OK, the small town that she loved so much.
She retired as a receptionist from DHS in Pushmataha County, but she was also a mail carrier in the Rattan/ Cloudy area, and an office building manager in Plano, TX, when she traveled with Jerry for several years.
Linda loved being outside on her back deck, motorcycle adventures, 4 wheeler camp, and being in the mountains of Southeastern Oklahoma. She had a heart of gold and loved family, friends, and her co-workers with every square inch of it. She never liked being the center of attention but always seemed to be "the belle of the ball" as she was beautiful, classy, and loved to dance, laugh, make everyone feel special and have a good time. She may be best remember by her homemade chocolate cake or her hearty pat on the back with her rings clinking together, but those closest to her will always remember the way she made them feel.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband: Jerry; her father: Bryant Taylor; her mother: Virgie Taylor; her 3 brothers: Dean, Bill, and Charles Taylor; and sister-in-law: Jeane Taylor.
Those she leaves behind to cherish her memory and carry on her legacy of love and beautiful memories are her son: Brant Morse and wife Traci of Antlers; her daughter: Dana Jackson and husband Lane of Bokchito, OK; her three adored grandchildren: Ashley Hutson of Ardmore, OK, Kyle Morse of Antlers, OK, and Brenna House of Telephone, TX; and the gift of a great grandson: Jayden Hutson of Ardmore, OK, along with some very special nieces and nephews, friends that were like family, and 2 sister-in-laws, Mary Jo and Geneva.
