Linda Marie Anderson Silvey was born on January 23, 1940 to Wilson and Oma Harris Anderson in Miller, OK. She passed from this life on June 30, 2026 in Paris, TX at the age of 86.
Linda wed Virgil Silvey on June 25, 1957. She loved life and enjoyed it with all her creative hobbies. Just a few of those things included her beadwork, crochet, and making clothing for her children and grandchildren. She spent much of her time outdoors in her garden growing both vegetables and flowers. Linda and Virgil loved hunting and fishing together. Later in life, she joined Virgil in his carpentry business for over 20 years. They truly loved all gatherings to make music and met a lot of cherished friends along the way.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband: Virgil Silvey; grandson: Brian McGee; as well as her 9 siblings.
She is survived by her children: Ellis Silvey of Antlers, OK, and Anita Silvey Reich and husband Alan also of Antlers; grandchildren: Jamie Harp of Antlers, OK, Alishia and husband Patrick of Durant, OK, Tiffany McGee of Colorado Springs, CO, and Jeana Reed and husband Jason of Antlers, OK; 7 great-grandchildren: 4 great-great grandchildren and one on the way; sister-in-law: Alla Mae Rosenthal of Rattan, OK; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will take place at 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 2, 2026 at Antlers City Cemetery with Brent Franks officiating. The Choctaw Senior Citizens Center will hold a lunch for friends and family immediately following, and any who would like to join for food and fellowship are encouraged to attend.
Services are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Service of Antlers.
