Linda Ellen Winship, a lifelong resident of Southeast Oklahoma, passed from this life on September 30, 2025 in Plano, Texas at the age of 80. She was born on April 1, 1945 to Loren Wall and Alma (Fuller) Vest in Spencerville, OK.

Linda enjoyed taking care of her beloved dogs and hunting for a good deal at yard sales. Above all else, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents: Alma Vest Fuller and Loren Wall; son: Harold Winship; grandson: Brandon Winship; two sisters; one brother; and the father of her children: Jimmy Winship.

She is survived by her children: Sherry Cook of Atoka, OK, and Terry Winship of Rattan, OK; sister: Ginger James of Rattan, OK; grandchildren: Lyndsi Carper and husband Landon of Rattan, OK, Kayli Deaton and husband Johnny of Tahlequah, OK, Loghann Winship of Tulsa, OK, Kelbi Winship of Tulsa, OK, Easton Winship and wife Jean of Durant, OK, and Kike Cook of Hugo, OK; great-grandchildren: Nolan Deaton, Jax Deaton, Brooks Deaton, Creed Carper, Brinlee Carper, Kimberly Winship, and Kruz Winship; as well as a host of relative and friends.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, October 5, 2025 from 2-4PM at Serenity Funeral Service of Antlers. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025 at Rattan Cemetery with Matt Arnold officiating.
