Linda Rae Wood, beloved mother and grandmother, was born on August 29, 1946 in Laingsburg, Michigan to Jack Gee Sr. and Phyllis (Case) Gee. She passed from this life on February 19, 2026 in Paris, Texas at the age of 79. 

Linda was a devoted Jehovah's Witness. To her, gardening was not only her favorite hobby, but a way to enjoy and respect the beauty of Jehovah's creation. Linda retired from her career as a pharmacy technician, and had spent the last 10 months in Southeast Oklahoma in the company of her family.

She is preceded in death by her father: Jack Gee, Sr.; sister: Susan Brown; and daughter: Jill Wood. 

Linda is survived by her children: Paul Wood of Ashford, Kent, United Kingdom, and JoAnn Burke of Snow, Oklahoma; mother: Phyllis Gee of Owosso, Michigan; brother: Jack Gee, Jr. of Laingsburg, Michigan; grandchildren: Connor Wood of Snow, Oklahoma, Zion Wood of San Antonio, Texas, and Astarte Wood of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and great-grandchildren: Alayna Wood, Aryiana Wood, Sabrina Wood, and Cyanna Wood.
