Loren Wayne Hudson passed away on May 18, 2026, in Hugo, Oklahoma, at the age of 87. He was born on June 19, 1938, in Talihina, Oklahoma, and lived a life marked by devotion to his family, his community, and the many simple pleasures that brought him joy.
Loren was a proud Navy veteran and member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and carried that heritage with honor throughout his life. He was also associated with the Choctaw Nation Housing Authority, where he contributed his time and efforts in service to others.
He found happiness in the everyday things that made life meaningful. Loren enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, working in his yard, and tinkering in his shop. He especially treasured the time he spent visiting with friends and family, sharing stories and laughter.
Loren was preceded in death by his parents: Emory and Flora Hudson; his brothers: Stanley Hudson and Ronnie Hudson; and his nephew, Stanley Hudson Jr. Their memories remained close to his heart throughout his life, and he carried their legacy with him in the way he lived and loved.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Adeline Frazier Hudson; his sister, Wanda Leet; his sister-in-law: Nannette Hudson; his nieces: Cynthia Goings, Geraldine Hale, Brenda Leet, Neecee Hudson, Natalie Hudson, Neahna Hudson, and Rhonda James and her husband Larry, along with their children and grandchildren; and his nephews, Ronnie Hudson, Jr., and Keith Hudson. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory and the many ways he touched their lives.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 2PM at the Tuskahoma Choctaw Veterans Cemetery with Nathan Watson officiating. Inurnment to follow.
