Martha "Lou" Louella Martin departed from this life on November 28, 2025, at her residence in Henning, Tennessee. Born August 11, 1950, in Talihina, Oklahoma to John Howard and Martha Blanche (Stewart) Noah, she was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her. 


Martha Lou wove love and tradition into her daily life. Her marriage to Donald Ray Martin Sr. in 1975 in Antlers, Oklahoma, blossomed into a beautiful partnership that blessed them with a large and loving family. She was a dedicated mother not just to her own children, but to all those she encountered.


Martha Lou's legacy will be carried on by her children: Conrad Songer of Antlers, Oklahoma, Denver Martin of Cisco, Texas, Donald Ray Martin Jr. of Wichita, Kansas, Chris Martin of Wichita, Kansas, and Cheyenne Turner of Cisco, Texas; her brothers: Alfred Noah of Atoka, Oklahoma, David Rhodes of Greenville, Missouri, and Donald Rhodes of Lane, Oklahoma; sisters: Joyce Smith of Antlers, Oklahoma, and Peggy Geary of McAlester, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Andrew Martin of Henning, TN, Gracie Minner of Henning, TN, Daniel Martin of Bartlett, TN, Dylan Martin of Oklahoma City, OK, Chrissie Martin of Oklahoma City, OK, Devin Martin of Oklahoma City, OK, Conner Songer of Grant, OK, Kody Martin of Wichita, KS, Kelsi Johnson of Wichita, KS, McKenzie Martin of Wichita, KS, Zachary Martin of Wichita, KS, Monique Hood of Dallas, TX, Kyle Martin of Ada, OK, Haley Davis of Millington, TN, Marc Weaver Jr. of Dothan, AL, Aiden Lucas of Dothan, AL, Dalton Lucas of Dothan, AL, Kimberly Vanzant of Wichita, KS, and Aiyana-Luella Martin of Cisco, TX; great-grandchildren: Denver Martin, Preston J. Before her passing, Martha Lou was preceded in death by her parents: John and Martha Noah; her loving husband: Donald Ray Martin, Sr.; her sister: Marilyn Pfaff; and her brothers: Leonard, Jimmy, Jacky, and John Wayne Noah.


Martha Lou's zest for life extended beyond her family ties. She had a talent for sewing that allowed her to craft pieces filled with love for her family and friends. Her baked goods were the highlight of every gathering. Martha Lou was also an avid sports fan, with a particular love for watching football and playing basketball. She always loved fishing and enjoying the peacefulness of nature.


Spending 31 cherished years in Memphis, Tennessee, Martha Lou embraced her community and formed countless friendships. Her career as a Micro-Implant Maker with Olympus was marked by dedication and precision, and she was highly respected by her colleagues.



Funeral services for Martha Lou will be held 2PM Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Serenity Funeral Service. Interment will follow at the Noah Family Cemetery in Albion, OK.
