Luseal (Brown) Rard

Luseal Rard was born in Clayton, Oklahoma on December 16, 1938 to Bill and Era (Pool) Brown. She passed from this life on November 13, 2022 at her home in Antlers, Oklahoma. She was 83 years old.

Luseal married Leo Rard on April 3rd, 1981 in Clayton, Oklahoma. She worked in several trades throughout the years, including pulpwood, ranching, and as a nursing home aide.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Bill and Era Brown; brothers: Everett Brown, LV Brown, JH Parks, and AL Parks; sister: Rosie Ramsey; and son: Justin Frederick Butler.

Luseal is survived by her husband: Leo Rard of the home; children: Grace Chapman and husband Otis of Antlers, OK, Nellie Chapman and husband Homer of Antlers, OK, Harold Butler of Canada, and many of her husbands children who considered her a mother as well; grandchildren: Justin Chapman and wife Christina of Antlers, OK, Jessica Chapman of Antlers, OK, John Kazy and wife Lindsay of Antlers, OK, Jerry Kazy and significant other Velvet of Roanoke, VA, and Joshua Chapman of Antlers, OK; as well as numerous great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Burial will take place at 2PM on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Antlers City Cemetery.
