Mary White Obituary
Mary Lee White was born in Antlers, Oklahoma on April 1, 1929 to John Austin Hatcher and Oma (Fry) Hatcher. She passed from this life at her Antlers home on August 29, 2024 at the age of 95.
Mary married R.L. White, and she took on her cherished role of homemaker. She loved taking care of her family and home, and was a talented seamstress and baker. Mary was a member of the Assembly of God in Antlers, and found great enjoyment in all the church activities.
She is preceded in death by her husband R.L. White; parents: John and Oma Hatcher; son: Roger Dale White; siblings: Doris Stone, Naomi Blackford, Donald Hatcher, Kathryn Pfaff, Dewey Hatcher, James Hatcher, Melba Burris, and Bill Hatcher; and grandchildren: Christy Everett and Stephen Maynard.
Mary is survived by her children: Brenda and husband Don Everett, Marilyn Maynard, and Janet and husband David Williams; brother: Carl Hatcher; sister: Norma Jo Gaston; grandchildren: Stephanie, Michelle, Aaron, Chuck, Pamela, Donnie, Rhonda, Anthony, Jennifer, Jeffery, Jeremiah, and Melissa; as well as numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A family night will be held on Monday, September 2, 2024 from 6-8PM at the Antlers Assembly of God. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 2PM at the Assembly of God with Gary Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at Antlers City Cemetery. Pallbearers include: Cass Maynard, Ryan Maynard. Josh Johnson, Braden Henderson, Eric Baskin, and Tim Spies. Honorary pallbearers are: Donnie Williams, Chuck Maynard, Devon Skinner, Aaron Everett, and Michael Bassett.
Services have been entrusted with Serenity Funeral Service of Antlers.
