Meriam Daniel Obituary

Meriam Daniel, who was called Choy Takol,,Ate Meriam and sister Meriam to most of us all, was a godly woman of faith and wisdom. She was born on December 21, 1951 in Palinpinon, Valencia, Negros Oriental. Meriam passed from this life on September 6, 2021 in Hugo, OK at the age of 69. She married Reneo Daniel on December 21, 1978.

She loved Jesus and would not compromise in what she believed. She had always stood for the truth as long as it is according to the Word of God and principle of Heaven.

Meriam was a loving wife, mother, Lola (grandmother), a sister, and a friend. She was a spiritual mentor and a prayer warrior. She was a sweet, selfless, caring, generous, encouraging and loving lady. Meriam always had her home open to everybody no matter what your status in life.

She had influenced the lives of many to follow Jesus with two of her favorite verses in Matthew 6:33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." and Matthew 16:26 "For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul?"
She was instrumental in encouraging people to grow in the service of the Lord by attending camp meetings, Wednesday midweek prayer meetings, zoom meetings in united prayer, vesper and sunset Sabbath worship and medical missionary training.

Meriam was consistent with her walk with God and witnessing to others. She never wavered from her love to Jesus and to work for Him even until the last days of her life.

Meriam is survived by her husband: Reneo Daniel; children: Rene Daniel, Rheu Daniel, and Neil Manahon; brother: Evaristo Manahon; sisters: Evacueta Gallopin, Rachel Gallopin, and Ester Manahon; and grandchildren: Rene Daniel, Jr., Abigail Daniel, and Naomi Isabel.

Burial for Meriam will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 6AM at Kosoma Cemetery. A funeral Service will follow at 8AM at the Antlers Seventh Day Adventist Church.
