Monte Ray Williams, 57, passed from this life on December 30, 2021, in Antlers, Oklahoma. He was born January 3, 1964, in Antlers, Oklahoma, to Leon and Patsy (Savage) Williams.
Monte married Lynda Marie Mack on June 12, 1993, in Antlers, Oklahoma. Together they were blessed with a son and twenty-eight eventful years.
He was a member of the Antlers Chapter of Jaycees and worked as a Traffic Superintendent at the Oklahoma Department of Transportation. Monte was an avid hunter who enjoyed hanging out with friends and riding the ranger with his dog, Lucy. Above all else, Monte loved being with his family.
Monte is preceded in death by his mother: Patsy Williams; grandparents: Mildred and Woodrow Savage and Joe Sr. and Emma Williams; and mother-in-law: Melba Duke.
He is survived by his wife: Lynda Williams of the home; son: Dalton Ray Williams and wife Kayleigh of Antlers, Oklahoma; father: Leon Williams of Antlers, Oklahoma; brother: David Williams and wife Dorthy of Antlers, Oklahoma; sister: Lynn Winters and husband John of Antlers, Oklahoma; nieces and nephews: Mark Williams, Marlee Taylor, Amber Buchanan, and Michelle Moyers; special nieces and nephews: Luke, Isabel, Abby, Calvin, Frankie, Finley, Penelope, Piper, and Benjamin; as well as many other family members and a host of friends.
Funeral services for Monte Williams will be 2PM, Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at the Antlers First Baptist Church, with Pastor Charlie Mueller officiating. Burial at Finley Cemetery to follow.
