Ollie Dillishaw Obituary

Ollie Dillishaw, Jr., a cherished husband, father, brother, and grandfather, passed away on January 2, 2024, in Antlers, Oklahoma, at the age of 71. Born on December 4, 1952, in Finley, Oklahoma to Ollie Sr. and Evelyn Faye Dillishaw, Ollie laid down roots in the Antlers area where he lived for 45 years and created a life filled with love, service, and dedication.

A proud VietNam Army Veteran, Ollie dedicated many years to his country before retiring as an aircraft mechanic from Tinker Air Force Base. His commendable work ethic continued as he took up logging for the Wyricks. Ollie's commitment to his faith was evident in his participation at the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

On June 15, 1975, Ollie married the love of his life, Noy, in Antlers, OK. Together, they raised three children-Glen, Lanee, and Tyson-who, along with their spouses and children, brought immeasurable joy to his life.
Ollie's zest for life shone brightly through his hobbies. He found tranquility in fishing, challenged his mind with video games, and loved to play a round of golf. However, what he cherished most was the laughter and love that filled the air when playing with his adored grandchildren.
He is survived by his spouse: Noy Dillishaw of the home; children: Glen Dillishaw, Lanee Wilson, and Tyson Dillishaw; brothers: Danny Dillishaw, Larry Dillishaw, Randy Dillishaw, and Windale Dillishaw; sisters: Jane Kuykendall, Judy Alexander, Bonnie Read, Mary Patterson, and Liz Deaton; and grandchildren: Tristan Dillishaw, Rayne Wilson, Rylan Wilson, Maddox Dillishaw, Maylee Dillishaw, and Maxtyn Dillishaw.
His parents, Ollie and Evelyn Faye (Lynch) Dillishaw, and infant sister, Brenda, preceded him in death.
