Pason McCrae Burgess-Phillips brought an irreplaceable light into the world during his 21 years of life. Born on February 17, 2004, in Durant, Oklahoma, Pason’s warm smile and infectious laughter became a source of joy for all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Tragically, Pason passed away on February 13, 2026, just days shy of his 22nd birthday, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Pason had many interests. He was an avid gamer, and also a lover of the outdoors. Pason could often be found fishing at his favorite spots, or just relaxing while watching videos. Always the life of the party, he was a source of endless entertainment for his nieces and nephews. The time he devoted to his family was filled with love and laughter that made the most lasting memories. Pason’s uncanny ability to make people laugh was one of his greatest gifts and one of the things that brought him true joy.

He was preceded in death by his brother: Ty M. Reese; and his grandfather: Leon Burgess.

He is survived by his beloved fiancée: Britani Parsons of Battiest, OK; his mother: Amanda Burgess of Antlers, OK; his siblings: Ryan Phillips of Antlers, OK, Taylor Phillips of Valliant, OK, and Kobi Mills and her husband Colton of Broken Bow, OK; his grandparents: Deane Burgess of Antlers, OK, Patty and Troy Reed of Antlers, OK, and Gary Pritchett of Duncan, OK, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A family night will be held on Monday, February 23, 2026 from 5-7PM at Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, OK. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 11AM at the Hall FreeWill Baptist Church with Wes Haddox officiating. Interment will follow at Hall Cemetery. Pallbearers are: Aiden Noah, Avory Noah, KeShawn Pleasant, Joedy Hopson, Jacob McCarson, and Jacob Wayman. Honorary pallbearers include: Ryan Phillips, Taylor Phillips, Colton Mills, David Massey, Brecken Reese, Eddy Raygaclas, Oaklee Tisho, Trevor Gonser, Trevor Phillips, and Drew Savage.
