Patsy Lucille Cooper, also known as "The Dancing Queen" and "Nana" to all who loved her, was born February 3, 1929 in Tuskahoma, OK to William Sidorus Butler and Pearl Irene Butler. She passed from this life on May 25, 2024 in Tulsa, OK.

Pat, a lifelong member of the Episcopal Church, married John Holt Cooper on May the 10, 1947 in Paris, Texas. They were married for 66 years. They enjoyed dancing and never missed an opportunity to go to a party. May they be dancing together again!

Pat retired as secretary to the division Engineer at ODOT and was the owner of Kiamichi Drive- In in Antlers, Oklahoma. Her fun-loving and playful spirit allowed her to enjoy a number of different activities. She was avid fan of all OU sports, especially Softball and Football, and she also loved to play cards. In her earlier years, she enjoyed traveling to Hot Springs to watch the races.

Pat is preceded in death by her husband: John Holt Cooper; parents: William Sidorus Butler and Pearl Irene Butler; brother: Billy Butler; daughter: Carolyn Beth Cooper; and grandson: Clayton Cooper Duncan.

She is survived by her daughters: Joellen Wheeler and Kelley Branham; granddaughters: Natalie Hamilton and husband Marc of Fountain Valley, CA, Suzanne Storie of Broken Arrow, OK, and Courtney Duncan of Broken Arrow, OK; great Grandchildren: Jack Hamilton of Seattle, WA, Sydney Hamilton and Ben Hamilton both of Fountain Valley, CA, Kennedy Bishop of Gentry, AR, Nadia Storie and Fiance Trae Thompson of Springfield, MO, Chandler Storie of Broken Arrow, OK, Mylee Bishop of Broken Arrow, OK; great-great granddaughter: Alayna Thompson of Springfield, MO; as well as many Nieces and Nephews who loved her dearly.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00am on the 8th of June, 2024 at St James Episcopal Church in Antlers, Ok
