Patty Carolyn (Goheen) Alcott was born in Glendale, Arizona on May 22, 1944. She was the daughter of Bud and Hazel Goheen and granddaughter of Claude and Clara Goheen and Boss and Lou Ella Benson. She passed from this life on June 7, 2022 in Cabot, Arkansas at the age of 78.
Patty graduated from Wickenburg High School then went to nursing school. After her education, she traveled the world as a United Airlines stewardess working out of O'Hare Airport in Chicago. Patty then married Dennis Alcott in 1967 and they moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. They enjoyed 49 years of marriage.
Patty was bright and fun and everyone always commented on her beautiful smile. She was full of life and loved to dance, travel, paint, and sew. Dennis had always called her "Flash" because she always wore something bright, and he called her "Pathfinder" because if she saw a road she hadn't taken, she was sure to find out where it went. Patty was smart, kind, beautiful and would give you the shirt off her back, generous to a fault. She was adventurous, fearless, and loved beyond measure.
Patty is preceded in death by her husband: Dennis Michael Alcott; and her parents: Eldridge and Hazel Goheen.
She is survived by her children: Bud Andrew Alcott (Danielle Horne) of Port Saint Lucie, FL, Kelly Ann Cantone (Matthew Cantone), and Patrick Ferrero of Watkinsville, GA; sister: Kathryn Wilkerson of Cloudy, OK; and grandchild: Matthew Dennis Cantone.
