Robert Ryan Ashley, 65, passed from this life at his home in Cloudy, Oklahoma on May 2, 2026. He was born to Lloyd Ashley and Eva (Tindell) Ashley in Ardmore, Oklahoma on January 7, 1960. 

Robert married Caroline Rosson on June 22, 1979 in Rattan, Oklahoma. He loved the outdoors and the beauty of Southeast Oklahoma, and spent much of his time hunting and fishing. Robert was of the Pentecostal faith. 

He is preceded in death by his son: Justin Ashley; parents: Lloyd and Eva Ashley; mother and father-in-law: Betty and Cleavis Rosson; grandparents: Edd and Daisy Tindall, and Lester and Gladys Ashley; grandchildren: Cherylynn Ashley and Garrett Ashley; and siblings: Theda Davis, Marvin Ashley, and Lloyd I. Ashley.

Robert is survived by his spouse Caroline Ashley; children: Trinity Ashley and Robert Lester Ashley; sister: Liz Cogburn; brother-in-law: Kenneth Cogburn; grandchildren: Katie, Skylar, Jade, Gunner, and Jagger; nieces and nephews: Kerry Gaskey, Freddie Gaskey, Cacelia Sissy Figueroa, Robert Shannon, Michael Shannon, Treva Ashley-Watkins, Lil Ray Rosson, Charlene (Rosson) Sweden, and many more. 

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 1PM at the Cedar Creek Cemetery.
