Rocky Joe Williams

Rocky Joe Williams died in Little Rock, AR, on July 8th, 2023. He was born on July 3, 1967, in the town of Hugo, OK, to Betty Williams and the late Joe Williams, Jr.

Rocky was a proud graduate of Antlers High School. His passions were varied and many. An avid golfer, he spent countless happy hours on the green. Equally at home in nature, Rocky found peace in fishing and duck hunting. He was a frequent visitor at horse races in Hot Springs, AR and the Kentucky Derby. A passionate supporter of OU Sooners football and the Dallas Cowboys, he celebrated every victory with conviction.

Rocky's greatest joy, however, was spending time with his beloved family. Surviving him are his son: Rocky Zane Williams of Lexington, KY; his mother: Betty Williams of
Antlers, OK; step-daughters: Amanda Borchardt of Frankfort, KY, and Chelsey Wallace of Lexington, KY; sister: Tammy Davidson; and grandchildren: Jaden Wallace and Olivia Borchardt. He is preceded in death by his father: Joe Williams, Jr.; brother: Jamie Eric Williams; and grandparents: Joe Sr. and Emma Williams, along with Lester and Willie Mae Nowell.
Services for Rocky will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 2PM at the Gateway Church of the Nazarene in Antlers, OK with Rev. Kevin Angel officiating. Pallbearers include: Zane Williams, Jacob Williams, Jeremy Nowell, David Williams, Steve Chandler, and Tanner Davidson. Interment will follow at Antlers City Cemetery.
