Roy Lee Shirley Obituary

Roy Lee Shirley was born on January 22, 1967 in Antlers, OK to Dan and Martha "Polly" (Powell) Shirley. He passed from this life in Tulsa, OK on November 30, 2025 at the age of 58. 


Roy served proudly in the United States Army. He married Susan Slater on February 13, 1991. Roy and Susan eventually returned to Roy's childhood roots, and made their home in Jumbo, OK. In his free time, Roy enjoyed tinkering on vehicles, fishing, and playing Nintendo.  


He is preceded in death by his mother: Polly Shirley; maternal grandparents: Juanita and Elmer Powell; and paternal grandparents: Otie Richardson Shirley and Lee Shirley. 


Roy is survived by his wife: Susan Shirley; father: Dan Shirley; children: Katrina C. Ramsey, Sean C. Ramsey, and Brandon S. Shirley; brother: Jim D. Shirley; sister: Sharon S. Christian; as well as 8 grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. 


Services for Roy will be held at 2PM on Friday, December 12, 2025 at the Jumbo Cemetery. 


Services are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Service of Antlers.
