Roy Wonsch Obituary

Roy Oliver Wonsch, 103, passed away on November 12, 2021 in Tyler, TX. Roy was born on January 13, 1918 to the late Albert and Martha Wonsch in Antlers, OK.

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, veteran of World War II, and member of the greatest generation.

He is survived by his wife Louise, children Topper Johnston, Jeryl Wonsch, Dennis Wonsch, Brenda Myers, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, especially Jackson Oliver and Claire Olivia Myers who held a special place in his heart, along with his three sisters, Billie Mann, Martha Jackson, and Lois Mooney.

Roy is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, two sisters, and his son Roy Earl Wonsch.

Military graveside services will be held at Antlers City Cemetery on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 10:00 AM.

Pallbearers will be Mike Myers, Brad Wonsch, Brandon Myers, Blake Wonsch, Jackson Myers
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the World War II Museum in New Orleans or to the Wounded Warriors Foundation in his name.
