Sandra Dee Herbert McClain passed from this life on May 14, 2021 in Antlers, Oklahoma. She was born to Melvin James Herbert and Deborah Ethel Draper on September 25, 1965 in Eunice, Louisiana.
Sandra was a resident of Choctaw County for 40 years, before making the move to Antlers one and a half years ago. She loved the outdoors, and spent any time she could camping and fishing at the lake. Sandra was a collector of all things roosters who loved cooking and being with her friends and family. More than anything, she loved and adored her grandbabies, and made sure to give each of them their own special nickname.
Sandra is preceded in death by her father: Melvin James Herbert.
She is survived by her mother: Deborah Ethel Draper; children: Shasta McClain and fiance Erin Mims of Spencerville, OK, and Robert "Tater" McClain and wife Dee of Antlers, OK; brothers: Paul Beard and Kenneth Herbert; sisters: Carolin Beard and Paula Beard; grandchildren: Stephaine, Jaida, Aarin (Bubba), Ashawnta, Cierah, Chance, Braydon, Kylan, Lincoln, and Moxley.
Services for Sandra will be held Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 2PM at the Hugo Lake Hospitality House with her son Robert McClain officiating. Viewing for Sandra will be Tuesday May 18, 2021 from 6-9 PM at Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
Cremation services have been entrusted with Serenity Funeral Service of Antlers, OK.
