Sandra Lynn (Travis) Sorrells

Sandra Lynn Sorrells, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2023, in Antlers, Oklahoma. Born on August 18, 1952, in Greeley, Colorado, Sandra had a life full of love, wisdom, and generosity that touched the lives of many.

Sandra was predeceased by her parents, Thomas Travis and Mary Lois Riggle; her husband, Roy Paul Sorrells; twin baby girls, Yvette Cathleene and Sarah Lanette Sorrells; brothers, Leo Riggle, Austin Callahan and sister, Katherine Riggle. She is survived by her children, Carson Lee Sorrells and his wife, Tina Lanelle, Preston Wayne Sorrells, Bonnie Ann Sorrells, and Kenneth Sorrells. Sandra was also a proud grandmother to Savannah, Katie, Sarah, Carlee, Lily, Zoe, Logan, Lacie, Jacob, and Cierra. She will be fondly remembered by her brothers, Jerry, Roger, Rex and Randle Riggle, Casey Callahan and sisters, Sandra, Linda, Jeanetta, Joann, Velma, and Lesa Riggle, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

As a dedicated homemaker, Sandra poured her love and energy into creating a warm and welcoming home for her family. She had an immense pride in her role, and her ability to create a loving and supportive environment for her children and grandchildren was truly remarkable. Sandra's caring nature extended beyond her family, as she was known to be a nurturing figure to all she met.

Sandra had a passion for westerns, which she loved to watch and read in her spare time. Her love for the genre spoke to her adventurous spirit and her inherent connection to the natural world around her. Sandra's love for the outdoors was evident in the time she spent outside watching her grandchildren play, and spending time with her animals caring for them with a gentle touch and a kind heart.

Services for Sandra will take place on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 2PM at the Serenity Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at Butler Cemetery.
