Sharon Rose McClain, a lifetime resident of the Antlers area, passed from this life on June 2, 2024 in McKinney, Texas. She was born in Hugo, Oklahoma on June 2, 1961 to Walter and Virginia (Meyers) Clark.

Sharon enjoyed the simple things in life, like fishing, gardening, and, in her younger years, riding horses. Her favorite thing to do was to sit on her front porch and relax.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents: Walter and Virginia Clark; sisters: Mildred Hensley, Ester Rich, Mary Clark, and Nora Erwin; brothers: Argle Clark, Walter Clark, Oliver Clark, Riley Clark, Eugene Clark, Otis Clark, Leonard Clark, and Mark Clark.

She is survived by her daughter: Virginia Potter; grandchildren: Devin McClain and Miaya McClain; brothers: John Clark and Stanley Clark; and sisters: Lina Bell, Linda Saffell, and Opal Lane.
