It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sherry Joslin, who passed away on the 30th of September, 2024 at her residence in Antlers, Ok. Sherry was born in Roseburg, Oregon on May 15, 1962. Sherry lived a life filled with wit, love, resilience, and a fierce will that touched all who knew her. Sherry absolutely loved her fur babies and enjoyed helping others.
Sherry is survived by her son, Timothy Steely, her daughter, Jamie Drenth, her brother, Jesse Joslin, and her sister, Shelia Joslin, and many precious nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Carol Joslin, and her son, Dack Steely. With heavy hearts, we mourn the loss of such an inspirational figure in our lives.
Known for her strength, resilience, and candid nature, Sherry was also a beacon of love and care for her family and friends. Her blunt and witty personality made her a constant pillar of support and comfort to those around her.
Among her most valued accomplishments was the birth of her three children and being a Caregiver. Her life was defined by a deep love for her family, fur babies, and an unwavering commitment to their well-being.
Sherry's life lessons were invaluable; she always emphasized the importance of self-assertion and respecting oneself enough not to tolerate disrespect from others. These lessons, articulated through her words and deeds, have left an indelible mark on those who had the privilege of her guidance and love.
We invite all who knew and loved Sherry to join us as we honor and remember the incredible woman who left such an impression on our lives.
May her fierce spirit, love, and resilience continue to guide us forward, as we keep her cherished memory in our hearts.
A celebration of her life will be held 1 PM Tuesday October 8, 2024 at Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
