Sue (Gardner) Hedrick Obituary

Billie Sue Hedrick, affectionately known as Sue by her loved ones, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2025, in Ft. Towson, Oklahoma. Born on May 10, 1961, in Antlers, Oklahoma, to Billy and Georgia "Jo" (Morris) Gardner, Sue was a beacon of light and joy in the lives of everyone she touched.

Sue's life was a testament to her unwavering love for her family. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Randall Hedrick, with whom she shared 45 beautiful years after their wedding on June 8, 1979, in Apple, Oklahoma. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, adventure, and the bustling joy of a large family. Sue's legacy is carried on through her children: Kevin and wife Whitney, Randy and wife Kimberly, Hallie and husband Jimmie, Brandy and husband Jeremy, all of whom reside in Ft. Towson, Oklahoma. The sparkle in her eye glowed even brighter for her grandchildren, Baileyn, Kyli, Beckett, Montana, Kolt, Mackenzie, Tanley, Tandon, Taylon, Tayla, Traycen, Truly, and Traylon.

Sue's sisters, Diana Oakes, Christy Tadlock, and Brenda Whittington, will forever remember the times they shared with their remarkable sister. Sue is preceded in death by her loving parents, Billy and Georgia "Jo" Gardner.

A cherished member of the Spencerville Church, Sue's faith and fellowship enriched the community. Her passions included hunting and fishing - pursuits that she loved sharing with her grandkids, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Sue will be profoundly missed and always remembered for the vivacity, warmth, and kindness she brought into this world. Her spirit and love will continue to guide her family and friends, and her memory will be cherished by all those who had the privilege to know her. Sue's influence and tenderness will be felt for generations to come.

Graveside services will be held 10 AM Saturday January 4, 2025 at Spencerville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin Hedrick, Jimmie Harvey, Randy Hedrick, Sam Davis, Baileyn Hedrick, Kolt Hedrick, Charlie Scaff, Jerry Mayer and Chett Taylor.
