Tamara (Higgins) Stevens and Kayden Neal Stevens Obituary

Tamara Leighann (Higgins) Stevens was born on June 19, 1987 in Sherman, TX. Tamara met Richard Stevens in Atoka, OK in December 2013 and together they raised their two wonderful boys. Tamara and Richard gave birth to their youngest son, Kayden Stevens on September 3, 2023 in Durant, OK. Tamara and Kayden passed into the arms of their lord together on January 23, 2025 in Hugo, OK.

Tamara had moved from Texas to Oklahoma and really enjoyed the Oklahoma life. She had worked at many places in Rattan after her move, including Hank's, Howard's and US Cellular. She was a strong, independent woman who loved to spoil her husband and kids. Tamara loved to travel with her family and especially loved the Louisiana cajun food that she enjoyed with her husband. She loved to cook her family's favorite spaghetti and bake coconut cream pie and divinity. Tamara loved all things Christmas and watching the joy it brought to her family. She even worked at Howard's Cafe making their pies for them. In motherhood's rare downtime, she loved watching scary movies, Momma June Not to Hot, Iron Man, Twilight, and playing Candy Crush. Kayden absolutely loved his Bomb popsicles, Dum Dum Suckers, and War Heads candy (and anything sour). His favorite thing to do was watch his Bluey, Paw Patrol, or Baby Shark cartoons while drinking his bug juice. Above all else Tamara and Kayden loved spending time with their family.

They were preceded in death by Tamara's biological father: John Higgins.

Tamara and Kayden are survived by their husband and father: Richard Stevens; son and brother: Aiden Stevens; brothers/ uncles: Jonathon Higgins, Michael Higgins, Lucas and Logan Higgins; brothers/uncles: Russel Olson and wife Tanna, and Cameron Higgins; sisters/aunts: Ashley Saville and Destiny Fields; parents/grandparents: Carol and Donald McKnight; grandma "PopPop": Marlene Rains; grandfather: Howard Lowe; uncle, who Kayden was named after: Kenneth Neal Stevens; uncle: Dale Stevens and wife Shellie; great aunt and uncle: Jack Fielder and wife Jan; and Kayden's aunts: Linda Conley, Shirley Hernandez, Mary Sedwick, and numerous other family members and friends.
