Thad Matthew Moore was born on March 27, 1937 in Ti, Oklahoma. He passed from this life in Denison, TX at the age of 85 on July 3, 2022.

Thad was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, and retired with a rank of Master Sergeant.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Betty Lue Moore; mother: Pearl Ellen Jones; father: Theodore McCormack; and siblings: Jay Moreland, Jack McCormack, and Dotti McClain.

Thad is survived by his children: Betty Pauline Ford and husband John of Antlers, OK, and Candacce Thadine Ayers and husband Craig of Antlers, OK; brothers: Boyd McCormack of Oklahoma City, OK; sisters: Charlotte Decker of Gay Bluff, OK and Mary Ayers of Antlers, OK; grandchildren: Brandon, Wyndi, Ryan, Bobbiejo, Brian, Justin, and Dustin; and great-grandchildren: Tatum, Stephanie, Brandi, Kylie, Briley, Abigail, Caradee, Damian, Kellen, Logan, Sabila, Ayden, Zackary, Zoey, Ryder, Sawyer, Trace, Destani, Addison, Bryson, Camdyn, Braydon, and Chastin.


A graveside service will be held at 1PM on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Valley Mills Cemetery in Valley Mills, TX with Pastor Gary Metz officiating. Full honors will be provided by the United States Air Force honor guard.
