Trinidad Gutierrez, a beloved matriarch, passed away peacefully at the age of 99 on October 5, 2025, in Kiamichi Wilderness, Moyers, Oklahoma. Her roots trace back to Anzoátegui, Tolima, where she was born on May 30, 1926 to Alejandrino Gutierrez and Maria Antonia Ramirez. For the past fourteen years, Trinidad called the Kiamichi Wilderness her home. There, her house stood as a cherished gathering place, its doors always open to friends and family.

Embracing life with an unwavering commitment to her family, she devoted herself tirelessly to them as an extraordinary homemaker. Trinidad's interests and passions were diverse and heartfelt. She nurtured life not only in those around her but also in her garden. Her hands created warmth through knitting and sewing, leaving behind a legacy through countless pieces lovingly crafted.

Trinidad was the cherished center of a large and close-knit family. She is survived by her children: Esperanza Gonzalez of Moyers, Oklahoma, Amparo Cooper of Moyers, Oklahoma, Juvenia Mejia of Moyers, Oklahoma, Consuelo Gonzales of Moyers, Oklahoma, Eveli Collins of Atoka, Oklahoma, Maria Sanchez of Fort Worth, Texas and Edinson Gonzalez of Bronson, Florida; brothers: Noel Gutierrez, Oscar Gutierrez, Alejandrino Gutierrez, Juvenal Gutierrez, Norberto Gutierrez, Jorge Gutierrez, Maximino Gutierrez, Eleoterio Gutierrez, Aldemar Gutierrez; sisters: Eliza Gutierrez, Orlanda Gutierrez, Nora Gutierrez, Ligia Gutierrez; grandchildren: Elkin Pinillos, John Alexander Pinillos, Geovanna Lopez, Paola Andrea Jimenez, John Paul Mejia, Sandra Yazmin Portales, Alexis Herrera, Karen Sanchez, Julia Sanchez, Benjamin Espinoza, Stephanie Rivera, and Laura Gonzalez; great-grandchildren: Noah Espinoza, Samuel Rivera, Daniela Rivera, Caleb Portales, Natalie Portales, David Lopez, Abriana Lopez, Joshua Jimenez, Daniel Jimenez, Emilia Vallez, Eliah Vallez, Sofia Santiago, Lucas Santiago, Andrew Santiago, and Baruch Herrera; and great-great-grandchild: Rosana Portales.

She is preceded in death by  her husband, Evelio Gonzalez, parents, 6 brothers and 2 sisters.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 3PM at Kosoma Cemetery, with viewing at 1PM at Serenity Funeral Service.
