Troy Alan Nored, aged 59, of Moyers, Oklahoma, passed away on June 19, 2023. Born on May 31, 1964, in Antlers, Oklahoma, Troy was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend during his lifetime.

Troy was the son of Hal Nored of Moyers, Oklahoma and Donna McBride of Antlers, Oklahoma. Troy is survived by his devoted son: Zach Nored of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; a cherished grandchild: Gavin Nored; his brother: Chester Nored of Antlers, Oklahoma; and a sister: Glenda Derby of Antlers, Oklahoma. Additionally, he leaves behind his nieces: Dana Brackens and Crystal Johnson; nephew: Tony Derby; and his best friend: David Tannerhill. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Monroe and Stella Nored, as well as Dan and Tennie Henderson. He was also predeceased by his step-father: Richard McBride.

Troy was employed as a logger for Harriell Logging. His dedication and work ethic were evident to all who knew him.

In his free time, Troy enjoyed interests such as hunting and fishing, driving the dirt roads of the countryside, and visiting with friends and family. He was always keen on sharing a story or lending a helping hand, and cherished the peacefulness of the mountain he called home .

Troy will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to share in his life.

A memorial service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Moyers Baptist Church with Charlie Mueller officiating.
