Wanda Jean Duncan went to be with the Lord on September 26, 2023 in Antlers, Oklahoma. Wanda was born October 12, 1963 in Antlers, Oklahoma to Charles Glenn and Linda Martha (Hale) Ingram. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, Nana, and friend.
Wanda married her lifelong best friend, Austin Duncan on May 9, 1981 in Antlers, OK. They enjoyed 42 amazing and blessed years together. Their marriage was one of her proudest accomplishments, along with her kids and grandkids.
Wanda enjoyed spending time with her family, especially Austin and her grandkids. She enjoyed gardening, painting ceramics, supporting the Bearcats, collecting frogs, horse watching, and playing Bingo. She loved to cook and take care of everyone. She mostly loved letting God's love shine through her acts.
Wanda worked over 25 years in the Antlers School Cafeteria. She was proud of her work there. She loved each and every student that went through the line. She was also a member of OHCE and served as the secretary for Push. County.
Wanda is preceded in death by father Charles Glenn Ingram; brother-in-law: Terry Duncan; sister-in-law: Diane Duncan; nephew: Joseph Caswell; and her grandparents: Dick and Una (Hatcher) Hale and Delbert and Daisy Ingram.
Wanda leaves behind her amazing husband, Austin Duncan; her son: Leon Duncan and wife Jennifer Duncan of Jumbo, OK; daughters: Amanda Green and husband Tim Green of Rattan, OK, and Elizabeth Green and husband Matthew Green of Rattan, OK. She had a special bond with niece, Jackie Burch, whom she raised as her own, and husband Terry Burch of Antlers, OK; mother: Linda Ingram of Antlers; brothers: Curtis Ingram and Robin Vargas of Antlers, OK and Cameron Ingram and wife Tina of Antlers, OK; sister: Malinda Cole and husband Bill Cole of Antlers; and 8 wonderful grandchildren: Zachary Green and wife Kiera Green, Tyler Green, Buck Green, Timothy Green, Gracie Duncan, Jake Duncan, Matthew Green, and Nathanael Green.
Services for Wanda will be held on Monday, October 2, 2023 at 10AM at Serenity Funeral Service with Tim Green officiating. Pallbearers include: Zachary Green, Tyler Green, Buck Green, Timothy Green, Jake Duncan, Matthew Green and Nathanael Green. Honorary pallbearers are: Kyle Ingram, Buddy Caswell, Ron Tomlinson, Tim Ingram and Kevin Ingram.
Services for Wanda Jean Duncan are entrusted with Serenity Funeral Service of Antlers.
