Wesley Clay was born in Paris, Texas on February 24, 1957 to Bill Clay and Betty Sue Abbott. He passed away at the age of 65 on September 2, 2022 at his home in Snow, Oklahoma.
Wesley served proudly in the United State Navy and during his time he trained as a Naval Nuclear Engineer. After his service he returned home to Oklahoma, where he remained even after his retirement. Wesley enjoyed passing his time hunting, fishing, and attending concerts.
He is preceded in death by his father: Bill Clay; mother: Betty Sue Abbott Janvier; brothers: Randy Clay and Gary Clay; sister: Brenda Weaver; and son: Jeremy Clay.
Wesley is survived by his children: Joseph Walter Clay and Meagan Nichole Clay; brother: Kevin Clay; sisters: Debbie Clay Rosenthal, Karen Long, and Lucretia Taylor; and grandchildren: Joseph Conner Clay, Jeremy Collin Clay, Oaklynn Rey Clay, Jadon Jeremy Locke, Kealon K'Shawn Locke, and Leigha Nichole Locke.
Private services to be held at a later date.
Services have been entrusted with Serenity Funeral Service of Antlers, Oklahoma.
