Wilma Dean Reed, 84, went to be with her Lord on January 28, 2021 in Paris, Texas. She was born on September 26, 1936 in Glenwood, Arkansas to William Washington Johnson and Ella Pearl (Williams) Johnson.
Wilma loved to crochet, loved WMU, and gardening. She was a faithful servant of the church who loved camping, fishing (but only from the bank), and she was the absolute best at cooking wild game. Wilma was known as many things, including church secretary and Frisco Association secretary, but most importantly, she was a faithful wife, mother, and homemaker.
She had always said that even if one person through her life or in her death could come to Christ it was all worth it.
Wilma is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years: Hershel Reed; parents: William and Ella Johnson; brother: Maurice Johnson; sister: Bernice Diggs; and grandson: Dustin Reid.
She is survived by her children: Aaron Reed and Vonda of Antlers, OK and LaDonna Reid and husband Kenneth of Ft. Worth, TX, and Hayley Drake and husband Ben of St. Paul, MN; great-grandchildren: Hannah Reed, Hayden Reed, Molly Reed, Colbie Reid, and Lane Reid; as well as many extended family and friends.
